I am Aunty Dot’s niece, her brother Mick’s (Stanley Thomas) eldest daughter. I remember coming to grandfathers birthday at Dot’s with my eldest son which made four generations together. I know we didn’t keep in touch as much as we should have but sending my love and condolences to all.

My fondest memories are of the time I spent at Eungella with you, Pop Rigney and Uncle Tommy. Those family get-togethers, the laughter, the stories, and of course, the cups of tea served in your beautiful shimmering Lusterware coffee cups. I remember noticing those same cups were still being used when I last visited you for a cuppa, such a special little reminder of days gone by and memories that will stay with me forever. You will be deeply missed, Rest easy, Aunty Dot.
Until we meet again.
